A Decade of Bronze CD and Digital Download!

Commemorating 10 years of Shoreline Ringers, Inc., We have recorded a new CD. This time, we stepped up our game, and recorded at the Sonalysts recording studio in Waterford, CT. The sound quality is oustanding. Turn up the volume and close your eyes to experience what it’s like to be in the front row of a live concert.

This CD has all the best popular music we have played in the last 10 years. You’ll instantly recognize these fabulous tunes: And all that Jazz from Chicago, Dancing Queen, by Abba, Fly me to the Moon, Eleanor Rigby, Good Vibrations, What a Wonderful world, and more!

Also, for the first time ever, you can buy this CD in MP3 format online.  The album is available on iTunes and CD Baby.

Windsor Kicks off the season

On behalf of Trinity United Methodist Church, I would like to thank you and the Shoreline Ringers for the fabulous concert you presented at our church yesterday.  The professionalism and high level of musicianship of your players was evident throughout the concert as they played some very difficult yet entertaining selections.  The standing ovation that our audience gave you at the end was truly reflective of how impressed they were with the individual ringers as well as their enjoyment of the selections played.  Can’t wait to have you back!

Jane Nolan directs handchime class at Ledyard Center School

For two days, Jane Nolan took part in music classes at Ledyard Center School, teaching students about handchimes and spreading the joy of ringing.

“Can I just tell you what a breath of fresh air it has been for Mrs. Nolan to visit my classes? The kids were on better behavior to make the music happen – their faces when they heard the chimes for the first time was priceless–like someone turned on a light inside! Their understanding of reading music improved from the ensemble work, and their immediate success was such a confidence boost for them! I’d love to make this a regular yearly visit”

Simply Spectacular in North Stonington

We were once again thrilled to have the spectacular Shoreline Ringers return to North Stonington Congregational for their final Holiday Concert of 2017, ringing to an energetic and enthusiastic packed house on January, 7, 2018, also the day after Epiphany.  This group of friendly and superb musicians rang with precision, musicality and showed their sheer enjoyment of ringing through the beautifully programmed concert by director and founder of the group, Jane Nolan.

Director Jane Nolan had the eye of every ringer when conducting and the ringers made their handbells speak with such beauty that one could see the audience being transported to another dimension when they experienced the beauty of music created by this talented group.  There are always a few in the audience who experience seeing and hearing this group perform for the first time and they are utterly amazed at the sounds that handbells can make.  At the same time, there are audience members who have attended many, if not all of Shoreline’s concerts and are still in awe as to how this group continues to make each performance fresh and new with visual beauty and creative sounds.

The Shoreline Ringers were last in North Stonington for their last Holiday Concert of their 2013 season performing in our sanctuary in January, 2014.  Back then we had comments such as “We have to have them back again.” and “I did not know that bells could sound like that.”  Those same comments were heard again and we were once again thrilled to have them return.  Our church members and our handbell choir members were excellent hosts and the audience and Shoreline Ringers were delighted in the fantastic reception following this wonderful afternoon of music.

Once again, this was a wonderful Christmas gift to the community of North Stonington and was simply spectacular!
